• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility’s programs and activities within budget and regulations.
• Lead facility management staff and consultants in developing a business plan for all facility operations.
• Monitor each department’s activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
• Develop an environment that encourages creative thinking, problem solving and empowerment.
• Oversee rounds to monitor nursing care delivery, operations of support departments, cleanliness and appearance.
• Exhibit positive customer service to internal and external customers.
• Use survey information and other sources to address areas of importance as defined by customers.
• Verify that building and grounds are maintained, areas are clean, safe and orderly; hazards addressed.
