Job summary

Medical City Alliance Mental Health is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our healthcare team in the Fort Worth area. The role involves a broad range of skilled tasks including maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC work to keep facilities safe and functional.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a painter or general mechanic, a high school diploma, and a valid active driver’s license.

Qualifications

2+ years experience as a painter or general mechanic is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid active driver's license is required and license points must not exceed policy limits.
Commercial environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on equipment per diagrams and manuals.
Maintain and repair air handlers, exhaust fans, supply fans, patient beds, generators and other equipment.
Inspect and repair pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures for heating and water systems.
Construct, repair and maintain furniture, partitions, cabinets, doors/windows, and related carpentry duties.
Measure and cut floor tiles and countertops as needed; apply finishes to surfaces.
Prepare surfaces and apply coats of paint, varnish or enamel to interior/exterior surfaces.
Perform grounds work and maintain landscaping sprinkler systems.
Keep preventive maintenance records.
