Great River Health in Fort Madison, IA seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and cabinet work in a hospital setting. You will collaborate with staff to maintain safe, clean, and efficient facilities.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, repairing fixtures, operating CMMS, and ensuring a high standard of maintenance. A valid driver’s license and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years Carpentry - framing, finishing, painting preferred.
• 1-3 years basic maintenance - electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical preferred.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Driver's license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general healthcare maintenance/carpentry and repair tasks related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers while working as a team.
• Read work orders and input data into the CMMS database.
• Repair and install plumbing fixtures, lighting, furniture, and hardware.
• Maintain and repair mechanical and building systems, including ceilings and floors.
