Job summary

Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital seeks a Supervisory General Maintenance to lead the facilities team and oversee people, systems, and processes that support a world-class healthcare environment.

Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. You will manage preventive maintenance programs and coordinate with operations managers to align templates with operational needs and standards, ensuring safe, functional facilities for our communities daily.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years skilled labor (Required).
• Minimum of 1 year managerial/supervisory (Required).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Proactively meets with and creates partnership with operations managers to coordinate optimal template designs, ensure appropriate maintenance and answer questions and solutions including system template standards.
• Works closely with scheduling desig­nates assigned to each department assuring that schedules are built to reflect documented scheduling guidelines.
• Attends specialty departmental meetings to ensure alignment of templates to operations and educate operational personnel on Geisinger template standards and processes.
