Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Helper to support general maintenance repair work in an office environment. You will assist repairmen by delivering tools and materials, cleaning work sites, and helping remove fixtures while keeping detailed records of time and materials.

The role emphasizes safety, basic electrical/HVAC tasks, and collaboration across trades. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a day shift from 10:30am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists repairmen by delivering tools and materials to the job site, cleaning up job sites and returning tools and materials to storage areas.
• Assists with removing built-in fixtures and tearing down walls.
• Collects and sorts recycling and shredding.
• Assists with painting projects.
• Provides limited electrical services such as changing light bulbs.
• Provides limitedHVAC services such as changing filters.
• Maintains accurate daily records of time and materials.
• Maintains all tools and equipment in a safe and operable condition.
• Reports problems to the supervisor.
• Assists other trade areas for seasonal requirements as needed.
• Provides assistance with Security as needed.
• Sweeps sidewalks to main entrance as needed.
