Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab in Santa Monica, CA, seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the maintenance department. Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand building codes and safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department and its programs.
• Coordinate maintenance services with Dietary, Nursing, Activities, and other departments.
• Ensure safety programs and PPE use; supervise safety and fire protection measures.
• Inspect facilities and equipment; report damage to Administration as needed.
• Prepare and monitor department budgets and cost reports; manage MSDS handling.
• Lead weekly meetings; train staff and verify competency of maintenance personnel.
