Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan and direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards for a safe and comfortable facility.

You will lead maintenance programs, develop policies, and coordinate with Nursing, Dietary, and Activities to maintain optimal operations while supervising staff and managing safety initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant-related position.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure maintenance schedules and safety policies are followed.
• Coordinate with other departments and supervise outside vendors as needed.
• Conduct regular rounds to verify equipment operation and safety.
• Develop and monitor the Maintenance Department budget and records.
