Qualifications

• High school diploma plus two years of trade/vocational schooling or apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of healthcare facility/plant engineering maintenance.
• Two craft areas minimum: HVAC, fluid handling, mechanical, welding, electrical.
• Valid US Driver's License.
• Able to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to detect emergency alarms (auditory and/or visual).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff, ensuring efficient service requests with minimal disruption.
• Implement and oversee the preventative maintenance program, scheduling tasks strategically.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and perform root cause analysis to restore operations.
• Provide hands-on training to maintenance staff on tools, safety, troubleshooting.
• Oversee contracted maintenance work, ensuring timely performance and warranty fulfilment.
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts; prepare purchase orders and source vendors.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material storage, usage, and disposal policies.
• Recommend facilities repairs and energy-related cost-saving initiatives.
