The Commercial Door Technician role at Crothall Healthcare involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing commercial and automatic door systems across healthcare facilities. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience as a commercial or automatic door technician.
• Fire door installation/repair certification preferred.
• AAADM certification or ability to obtain upon hire strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to follow up and close out maintenance tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, repair, and maintain rated door assemblies and automatic door mechanisms.
• Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort to meet standards.
• Test low-voltage wiring and sensor systems for proper functioning.
• Order and track materials and equipment for maintenance.
• Repair or replace worn mechanical, electrical, or structural parts.
• Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for installations.
