Job summary

Crothall Healthcare seeks an HVAC Technician for 1st shift (7am–3:30pm, M-F with occasional weekends) to perform skilled maintenance on facility systems. The role requires diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, and related equipment within a healthcare environment and may involve emergency repairs.

Training is provided, with a focus on safety and reliability. We value candidates with HVAC certification, blueprint literacy, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or license preferred.
• Experience with blueprints and schematics.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Organized and detail oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed in the CMMS.
• Helps settle staff, material needs, and timelines for jobs and projects.
• Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs, and diagnoses malfunction of HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems, sterilizers, and related equipment.
• Responds to emergency problems and performs repairs as needed.
• Maintains logs, completes PM work orders, and conducts inspections.
