Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Facilities Construction Technician who supports building maintenance and improvement across our healthcare system. You will participate in carpentry, flooring, painting, drywall, and related trades under supervision, ensuring safe, cost-effective work and strong customer satisfaction.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional evenings or weekends; 40 hours weekly.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI required.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and collaborates with supervisors, PMs and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely and cost-effective construction.
• Performs hands-on construction activities; uses tools and measuring equipment to determine proper functions.
• Inspects and mentors apprentices, ensuring safe practices and timely completion.
• Documents procedures and work completed accurately and promptly.
• Plans and coordinates workflow with other trades and reviews project blueprints for needs or issues.
