Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations in a Davenport, FL healthcare setting. You will oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety standards, and direct meal preparation in line with corporate guidelines.

The role requires a hands-on chef with 5+ years of leadership in high-volume kitchens, strong food quality focus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• AS or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• ServSafe certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards. Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, sanitation to Company standards.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas; ensures schedules are followed.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies and ensures product availability.
• Makes decisions on leftover food utilization within guidelines.
• Complies with health/sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in meetings and programs.
