Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in Lansing, MI is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Trash Tech for 1st Shift at UMH Sparrow. The position will clean and maintain a sanitary healthcare facility environment on client premises, with shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Daily duties include trash removal, recycling, debris cleanup, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus post-offer medical, background screening and drug test; janitorial or medical cleaning

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pickup and removal of all trash and debris on a daily basis.
Properly segregate recyclables and materials eligible for composting.
Perform cleanup in assigned areas as necessary; maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials and infection control standards.
Communicate issues to management and follow company sanitation policies.
