Job summary

Qualifications

• Speak, read and write English.
• Understand oral and written instructions; perform simple arithmetic.
• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Six months to one year housekeeping experience required; more than three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental services staff in a hospital zone to ensure cleanliness and order.
• Maintain MSDS and inspect for compliance; manage emergency response readiness.
• Assign and train associates in cleaning and care-taking tasks and reallocate staff as needed during emergencies.
• Conduct shift-start supply inventory and replenish stock locations; ensure efficient duties and proper use of equipment.
