Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager to lead the housekeeping department and support EVS leaders in delivering excellent facilities services in a hospital setting.

You will supervise front-line staff, coordinate schedules, and act as a liaison between administration and clinical departments, ensuring high-quality cleaning, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and procedures for Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work, staffing schedules, and areas of responsibility.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Coordinates inspections and makes facility recommendations.
• Maintains monthly reporting of goals and plans.
• Educates staff and conducts training.
• Communicates with staff, administration, and departments.
• Coordinates outside services (pest control, window cleaning, waste, etc.).
