Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager to oversee hospital housekeeping operations. You will lead front-line staff, coordinate shifts, and serve as a liaison between administration and clinical teams to ensure high service standards.

Preferred qualifications include a four-year degree or equivalent, supervisory experience in healthcare housekeeping, strong communication, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent work experience required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer contact.
• Progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping or facility maintenance preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training new associates.
• Orients and supervises supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts regular inspections and makes facility recommendations.
• Monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Staff education and training; liaison with administration and departments.
• Coordinate outside services (e.g., Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Waste, Recycling).
