Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Naperville, IL invites students to join as a Medical Equipment Planning Intern for a 10-12 week summer term, gaining hands-on exposure to healthcare design and equipment planning. Work with a team on project delivery, client coordination, and medical equipment documentation, contributing to budget targets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Prior internship in the building design consulting industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review proposed floor plans for healthcare construction projects and develop a room legend in IMEG's medical equipment database.
• Conduct research on technology assigned by a medical equipment planner.
• Locate cutsheets and specifications for assigned technology.
• Perform basic QA/QC tasks to help ensure medical equipment lists are complete and accurate.
• Participate in client user meetings to support the medical equipment planner and take meeting minutes for publication.
• Assist with onsite inventory and assessments of existing medical equipment as needed.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to milestone submission.
