Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking a Medical Equipment Planner 2 in Naperville, IL to support medical equipment analysis, design, and implementation for healthcare projects.

You will work with engineers and consultants, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The role requires a Bachelor degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience in medical equipment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in clinical engineering, biomedical engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
• 4+ years in building design or medical equipment consulting.
• Knowledge of hospital/clinic department functions.
• Proficiency with medical equipment software including 4Tower, Attainia and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships by gathering project requirements and communicating technical information effectively.
• Support consulting project execution, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions, client instructions, and project design progress.
• Analyze low to moderate complexity engineering tasks and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical, efficient solutions.
• Lead MEQ user meetings to finalize equipment lists and placement drawings, obtain user sign-off, and provide updated equipment lists and cost estimates.
• Develop procurement schedules, write MEQ specifications for bid comparison, and recommend equipment options to support purchasing decisions.
