Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services team member at Sebastian River Hospital to perform cleaning and disinfection of patient and non-patient areas. You will work with a patient-focused team to maintain a clean, safe environment and support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Must be able to complete required mandatory educational training.

Responsibilities

• As a self-motivated Team Member, adhere to all Standards of Behavior and provide excellent customer service in a cohesive team environment.
• Communicate with patients, visitors and customers using designated scripting and engagement techniques.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and ancillary areas per procedures.
• Clean patient rooms, beds, furniture, fixtures, floors and related items daily.
• Replenish supplies, remove waste, and handle linen as required.
• Complete patient room cleaning to accommodate discharges/admissions and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain punctual attendance and compliance with hospital policies.
• Follow all safety, PPE and hand hygiene directives.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement activities.
