Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking personnel for the Environmental Services department at Carolinas Medical Center. This full-time role involves cleaning duties across multiple areas, following a 7-Step cleaning process and maintaining sanitary conditions.

Schedule includes 40 hours per week with various shifts and every-other-weekend arrangements. Ideal candidates have basic instruction-following ability and on-the-job training is provided; experience in cleaning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-Step cleaning process.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, floors, and exterior surfaces of equipment.
• Empties trash and refills supplies such as soap and paper towels.
• Repositions furnishings after completing duties.
• Performs all methods of floor care including mopping, stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
