Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Environmental Services teammate to support Carolinas Medical Center. The position is 2nd shift, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $18.85 to $28.30 per hour.

You will perform routine cleaning, floor care, waste removal, and restocking of supplies, following a 7-step cleaning process to maintain patient rooms and public areas to high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas following a 7-step process.
• Cleans fixtures, walls, floors, and interiors of equipment.
• Empties trash and relines containers; removes waste properly.
• Replenishes soap, toilet paper, towels and other disposables.
• Moves and resets furnishings after completing duties.
• Performs floor care, including mopping, stripping, and buffing as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient areas and public spaces.
