Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an Environmental Services teammate at the Carolinas Medical Center - LCH campus in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role (40 hours) operates on the 2nd shift and involves routine cleaning, bed remakes after discharge, and general facilities upkeep within patient areas and common spaces.

Expect a hands-on position with training provided; related experience is preferred. The role supports hospital cleaning standards and patient safety through meticulous housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-Step cleaning process.
• Maintains floors and carpets per maintenance schedule.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, floors, and interior/exterior of equipment.
• Empties trash and relines containers; handles waste as required.
• Replenishes disposable items (soap, toilet paper, towels).
• Moves and resets furnishings after job completion and discharge cleaning.
• Performs floor care (dust/mop/strip/wax/clean) using designated equipment.
