Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services teammate at Carolinas Medical Center for 1st shift. The role requires adherence to a 7-Step cleaning process and responsible care of patient areas, fixtures, and floors in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Related cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a 7-Step cleaning process and assist with bed remaking after discharge cleaning.
• Maintain floors and carpets per schedule.
• Clean fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, and interior/exterior equipment.
• Empty trash and manage waste containers.
• Replenish disposable items such as soap and toilet paper.
• Move and reset furnishings after completing tasks.
• Perform various floor care methods (dust/wet mop, strip, refinish, burnish, extract).
