Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center Environmental Services team is seeking a part-time Cleaner to support hospital cleaning operations. The role requires following a 7-step cleaning process, disinfecting patient rooms, and maintaining floors and fixtures in a busy healthcare environment.

This position includes weekend rotation every other week; pay range is $18.85 to $28.30 per hour, with benefits eligibility noted as not eligible for some plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas following a 7-Step cleaning process.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, floors, and equipment; maintains floors and carpets.
• Empties trash and replenishes disposable items; moves and resets furnishings as needed.
• Performs all methods of floor care using specified equipment.
