Job summary

Tasks include cleaning floors, rooms, lobbies and restrooms, and assisting with laundry as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior cleaning experience; strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, mopping, and operating cleaning equipment.
• Assist in the laundry areas as appropriate and use technology applications when available.
