Job summary

TouchPoint in Detroit is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to direct and oversee the department’s operational needs. You will coordinate department tasks, assist in training and act as a liaison between administration and unit departments to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities include managing the budget, monitoring expenditures, coordinating housekeeping with other departments, and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving facility goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in support services, facilities, or housekeeping
• Supervisory/management experience preferred
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Understanding of budgeting processes and P&L concepts
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee department operations.
• Coordinate tasks of department associates and assist in training.
• Serve as liaison between administration and unit departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage department budget and track expenditures.
• Establish standards, workflows and policies for operations.
• Mentor staff and foster continuous improvement.
• Read, develop and administer Total Quality Management processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
