Freeman Health System is seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to enhance the employee experience by planning and executing engaging events and recognition programs across our organization. You will manage budgets, vendor coordination, communications, and on-site support, while aligning activities with our goals and policies.

• Experience with event management software and data entry (10-key).
• HR background or foundational knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement and organizational events aligning with goals.
• Manage all aspects of events including timelines, budgets, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
• Coordinate event elements such as venue, catering, AV, décor, registration, and attendee communications.
• Monitor event success through data tracking, reporting, and post-event evaluations.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead employee recognition and rewards programs with timely and meaningful acknowledgment.
• Coordinate recognition initiatives (awards, nomination processes, voting, rewards).
• Maintain inventory and procurement of event materials and recognition items.
• Support employee engagement initiatives including onboarding and internal communications.
• Provide guidance on career development and internal growth opportunities.
