Job summary

Heartline Staffing seeks an Electrical / RCDD Engineer to lead healthcare electrical design in Fort Collins. Requires PE license, RCDD, NCEES, and 6+ years in A/E with healthcare project experience, plus Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.

The role focuses on developing electrical/low-voltage drawings, coordinating power, lighting and ICT systems, while guiding junior staff and ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery. In-office with flexibility and up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) License REQUIRED
• Current RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) credential REQUIRED
• NCEES Registration REQUIRED
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the A/E industry REQUIRED
• At least 2 years as a licensed professional REQUIRED
• Healthcare project experience REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university REQUIRED
• Proficiency in Revit REQUIRED
• Proficiency in AutoCAD REQUIRED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite REQUIRED
• U.S. Citizenship due to Federal Contractor status REQUIRED
• Ability to travel up to 20% based on project needs REQUIRED
• Ability to meet the Fort Collins, CO in-office work requirement REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex healthcare facilities
• Develop hospital electrical and telecommunications systems
• Design and support emergency generator systems
• Design and support Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems
• Design and support automatic transfer switch (ATS) systems
• Develop comprehensive electrical and low-voltage construction drawings
• Coordinate across disciplines to integrate electrical power, lighting and low-voltage systems into building design
• Guide junior engineers and designers
• Provide clear technical direction and constructive feedback
• Travel up to 20% based on project needs
