Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking an Electrical / RCDD Engineer in Raleigh, NC. This full-time, in-office role requires PE and RCDD credentials and NCEES registration, with 6+ years in A/E and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Office tools.

Lead the design of hospital electrical systems and ICT, including generators, UPS, ATS, and comprehensive construction drawings; travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Current PE license is REQUIRED.
• Current RCDD credential REQUIRED.
• NCEES Registration REQUIRED.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the A/E industry REQUIRED.
• At least 2 years as a licensed professional REQUIRED.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in Revit REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite REQUIRED.
• U.S. Citizenship due to Federal Contractor status REQUIRED.
• Ability to travel up to 20% based on project needs REQUIRED.
• Ability to meet the Raleigh, NC in-office work requirement REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and ICT design from concept through completion.
• Develop specialized hospital electrical systems and ICT system specifications.
• Design and support emergency generator, UPS and ATS systems.
• Develop comprehensive electrical and low-voltage construction drawings.
• Lead project delivery on time and within budget; collaborate with architects and other disciplines.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers and support professional development.
