Job summary

PatientPoint in Cincinnati is seeking an Editorial Intern to support content development in healthcare education. This 10-week, 40-hour-per-week internship offers hands-on editing, writing and fact-checking experiences alongside seasoned editors, with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 remote).

You'll research topics, craft accessible health content, follow a style guide, and collaborate with designers to publish accurate materials for patients and providers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to style guides.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate with remote and in-person teammates.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: research and write articles and content clearly and accessibly.
• Research: gather information on healthcare topics to support content development.
• Fact-Checking: verify information with trusted sources.
• Editorial Support: assist editors and review content for publication readiness.
• Proofreading: check for grammar and style consistency.
• Collaboration: work with designers to ensure visually appealing content.
• Learning and Development: participate in meetings to learn basic business skills.
