Job summary

McKesson is seeking a CDC Operations & Inventory Manager to lead the distribution center’s operations and inventory control, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will direct receiving, storage, replenishment, shipping, cycle counts, and audits, mentor supervisors, and drive efficiency while meeting service commitments in a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Typically 6+ years of professional experience in operations, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or a related field.
Typically 0-2 years of supervisory experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, CDC, VFC, vaccine distribution, or other regulated environments.
Experience with ERP, SAP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory control systems.
Demonstrated success leading operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee daily distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment, inventory movement, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
Ensure materials and products are received from approved vendors, processed accurately, stored appropriately, and distributed in a timely manner.
Monitor workflow, operational performance, and resource utilization to achieve objectives.
Analyze reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead and supervise supervisors and frontline teams to meet service commitments.
