Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a leader for Enterprise Distribution and Central Supply Operations to drive excellence in patient-care support across our medical center network. You will manage all preparation, stocking, and distribution of supplies, supervise distribution staff, and align inventories with financial goals.

You will collaborate with legal, finance, risk, and other partners to optimize the end-to-end supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain operations and distribution work experience.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ hourly workers with hiring, terminations, reviews, and daily goals.
• Experience in managing teams that run 24-hour operations.
• Experience working with executive teams.
• Solid MS Office work experience.
• Ability to be on call after hours.
• Ability to work on-site (Monday - Friday).

Responsibilities

• Manage all preparation, stocking, and distribution of supplies needed to support patient care throughout the medical center.
• Supervise staff in distribution center with daily objectives and needs.
• Central Distribution and Receiving operations performance management.
• Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• Ensure asset inventory and managed par levels are in alignment with business and financial goals.
• Execute audits and maintenance activities to sustain stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Take ownership of the accuracy of asset inventory records.
• Develop strategies that maximize operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness of the entire supply chain.
• Support/manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
