Owens & Minor is seeking a Distribution Center leader in Ashland, VA. The role coordinates outbound, warehousing, shipping, delivery, and inventory accuracy to meet service and cost objectives.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations, plus strong leadership and financial acumen to drive improvements in a healthcare distribution environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 9+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse operations experience.
• Supervisory, leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people-motivation experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, distribution and warehouse management best practices.
• Strong financial acumen including prior profit and loss responsibilities.
• Ability to work fast and effectively within a matrix environment.

Responsabilidades

• Directs PM operations activities and teammates within a Distribution Center or multiple functions.
• Provides proactive feedback to Operations Supervisors and coach teammates.
• Develops and executes initiatives to improve DC metrics that drive financial performance.
• Reviews and approves DC expenses and makes capital recommendations where appropriate.
• Leads achievement of DC/function KPIs in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
• Oversees customer service for the DC and coordinates with Account Management and Corporate Ops as needed.
• Implements onboarding of new customers at the DC for successful implementation of new business.
• Enforces SOPs/WIs for warehouse management and transportation.
• Monitors performance and applies root-cause analysis to improve efficiency.
• Oversees succession planning and talent development.
