Owens & Minor in Ashland, VA is hiring a 2nd Shift Outbound Operations Supervisor starting at 3:30 PM. You will lead the operations team and drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and throughput in the distribution center.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations with leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or medical devices. A Lean Six Sigma mindset is highly valued, with opportunities for incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations with leadership experience.
• Experience in healthcare/medical devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the operations team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
• Track KPIs and analyze data to recommend process changes.
• Provide training and mentorship to teammates on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and WI's for warehouse management and transportation.
• Coordinate with local Account Management, Transportation, Client Engagement Center (CEC), and Corporate Operations as needed.
