TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring for a part-time Dispatcher in Birmingham, AL. The role coordinates and monitors Patient Transportation requests with timely, accurate dispatch and strong customer service.

Requirements include prior dispatcher and customer service experience preferred. Fixed pay rate at $14.00 per hour with days and hours varying; details provided at interview. The position supports hospital patients and families within the TouchPoint mission.

Formación

• Prior dispatcher and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate patient transportation with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Understands basic patient transport concepts and infection control practices.
• Determines, explains and develops dispatcher logic and transporter activities.
• Directs the activity of the transport function and transporters, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Ensures requests are addressed efficiently and per departmental standards.
• Serves as a liaison between Patient Transportation and other departments.
• Assigns, collects and distributes pagers; monitors sign-in/out procedures.
• Develops positive relationships with patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Resolves problems related to complaints; recommends solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
