Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Systems Director of Dining Services to provide strategic leadership across food service operations within a healthcare system. The role oversees patient care, retail, and catering across multiple sites, with focus on quality, cost control, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in hospital foodservice management, proven leadership, and strong budgeting and P&L skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum seven years hospital or adult home/care experience preferred.
• Nine+ years of direct foodservice operational management experience.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• ServSafe Certification or CDM/RD preferred.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensures client and customer service/satisfaction with cost-effective management across all sites.
• Manages foodservice activities including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering).
• Oversees systems and processes to meet client objectives for the system.
• Visits patients to ensure management contact during hospital stays.
• Leads system-wide Directors and manages the system budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
