Job summary

Eastgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary supervisor to oversee all food production within the Dietary department. The role includes leadership of dietary staff and ensuring safe, compliant food service in a healthcare setting.

In the absence of the Food Service Director, you will supervise all Dietary department personnel and maintain high standards of sanitation and service for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation.
• Minimum of two years experience in healthcare facility food services.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family, staff, and the public.
• Leadership ability and willingness to supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
• Willingness to seek out new methods and incorporate them into practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute all food production in the Dietary department.
• In the absence of the Food Service Director, supervise all Dietary department personnel.
