Job summary

Advocate Health offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in office/on-site and 2 days remote. The role focuses on design and construction planning, leading project teams, and ensuring scope, budget, and schedule are met across multiple healthcare projects.

The candidate should have a B.A./B.S. in a relevant field and at least 2 years of healthcare or academic design/construction experience; related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare or academic design and construction experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree as listed; related disciplines acceptable with experience
• Preferred: Evidence-Based Accreditation/Certification or Healthcare Constructor certification

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams; may teach, mentor and coach others.
• Develops, monitors, and achieves scope, budget, and schedule of multiple projects or portfolios.
• Design and construction owner representative responsibilities.
• Collaborates with authorities having jurisdiction; follows contracts.
• Uses design/construction methodologies to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Develops design standards and evaluates design documents.
• Procures and manages external resources.
• Works across multiple locations including remote/domains as needed.
