Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Project Manager in Planning within the Design and Construction department. The role leads project teams, mentors staff, and ensures scope, budget, and schedule for multiple healthcare projects.

The position requires a B.S./B.A. in health administration or related field and 2 years of healthcare design/construction experience; a CHD ACC or ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor is preferred. This is full-time, days, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health administration, engineering, construction management, architecture or related field with 2 years healthcare design/construction experience.
• Preference for CHD Evidence-Based Accreditation & Certification and/or ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor.

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams; may teach, mentor and coach others.
• Develops, monitors, and achieves scope, budget, and schedule for multiple healthcare projects.
• Acts as owner representative in the design and construction process.
• Develops benchmarking and performance indicators; manages project documentation.
• Procur es and manages external resources; applies design and construction methodologies.
• Collaborates with authorities having jurisdiction; follows contractual processes.
