Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking a data-savvy Decision Scientist II/III to frame ambiguous challenges, apply advanced analytics, and translate insights into decisions that drive business value. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop predictive and descriptive models, and contribute to ML pipelines and model monitoring.

Strong communication and collaboration are essential. The role supports office locations nationwide in a hybrid setup with flexible relocation and commutable distance

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 3+ years of progressive related work experience (Decision Scientist II) or 5+ years (Decision Scientist III).
• Strong analytical and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute analyses to uncover business improvements.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, clinical, finance, and provider teams.
• Apply predictive/descriptive models (regression, clustering, forecasting).
• Embed insights into workflows and measure impact.
• Present findings to leadership and translate analytics for non-technical audiences.
• Develop ML pipelines, model monitoring, and MLOps considerations.
• Mentor junior team members (Decision Scientist III).

Education

Master's degree in Statistics / Applied Mathematics / Physics / OR Data Science

PhD preferred in a strongly quantitative field

BA/BS with 5+ years related work experience (in lieu of advanced degree)
