Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, CS, IS, math, analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in data analytics, BI, data warehousing, or reporting.
• Strong SQL with complex queries and optimization.
• Experience with SAS, Python, or similar tools.
• Dashboard/reporting experience with Tableau, Power BI, SSRS or equivalent.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large healthcare datasets (claims, provider, eligibility, encounter, operations).
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities via advanced analytics.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, BI solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs.
• Create data extracts for operational/regulatory reporting and performance measurement.
• Document data dictionaries, methodologies, and processes.
• Support data quality, accuracy, and integrity initiatives.
• Present findings to leaders and stakeholders.
• Participate in projects involving predictive analytics, ML, fraud detection, and performance improvement.
• Support data governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
