Job summary

Abacus Insights is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable cloud architectures for health plans, enabling faster, trusted data usage. You will partner with customers and internal teams to implement CMS Interoperability and data solutions across medical, vision, pharmacy, and CMS workflows.

Lead architecture design, collaborate across product, engineering, and sales, and mentor teams while shaping long-term strategic roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business needs to technology solutions in healthcare data.
• Knowledge of CMS interoperability and related APIs (FHIR) required.
• Ability to define architecture visions and create design documents.
• Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, data models, and services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with client and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Author architecture design documents, data flows, and overall system design.
• Define technology strategy roadmap with business and IT teams.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement client projects.
• Identify client requirements for existing features or roadmap items.
• Provide mentorship and ongoing support to implementation teams.
