Job summary

Atria Physician Practice New York PC is seeking a Medical Records Data Quality Analyst to manage the medical records and EHR data of our Members with accuracy, confidentiality, and urgency. You will work closely with the Care Team to ensure data integrity across registration, chart abstraction, and record updates.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree, 2+ years of health records experience, and proven proficiency with EHRs, email, and multitasking across software.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree; medical assistant or nursing training/certification preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with health care system medical records.
• Proficient using EHRs, email, internet searches, and multitasking across software; effective phone and direct communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all data integrity activities related to registration and chart abstraction of historical clinical data.
• Update and review medical records by reconciling information, notifying health care providers of record discrepancies and tracking outstanding records.
• Record member medical information, to input allergies, history, correct classification codes for diagnoses, testing procedures, and treatments.
• Organize patient information in EHR by correctly scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documents.
• Assist in the collection and filing of medical records for members from external and internal health care delivery systems.
• Troubleshoot inaccuracies and discrepancies regarding medical records, requesting additional information when necessary.
• Keep medical records organized, accessible and secure.
• Collaborate with Atria Teams to answer inquiries in response to requests related to forms, medical records, program, and storage systems utilized in securing access to medical records.
• Provide administrative support and complete related tasks as assigned by leadership.
