Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support process improvement and quality initiatives across the organization. The role emphasizes data analytics, reporting, and persuasive data visualization to communicate findings to diverse audiences.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or 6+ years of relevant experience), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years in process improvement, quality management, or data analytics; 6+ years may substitute for degree.
• Analytical, planning, verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to build analyses and reports with persuasive data visualization for varied audiences.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Access, Outlook, Word, Visio; healthcare data understanding is a plus.
• Self-starter with ability to manage change and meet deadlines across departments.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement and quality initiatives across functions.
• Develop analyses and reports; translate findings into clear visuals for diverse users.
• Collaborate with teams and internal experts to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Apply knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, revenue and billing codes as applicable.
• Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
