Job summary

Woodlawn Health is seeking a Data Integrity Coordinator to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of patient health information. You will maintain electronic health records, resolve data discrepancies, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve data quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in HIT or a related field, RHIA or RHIT, 5+ years in a hospital HIM setting, and strong experience with Excel and EHR/database tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HIT or related field is required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• RHIA or RHIT certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years in a hospital HIM or healthcare data leadership role.
• Proficiency with major EHR systems, Excel, and database tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mark duplicate patient records with identity verification.
• Review chart corrections and move misfiled documents to correct charts; flag HIPAA issues.
• Perform regular audits and analyze error reports for trends.
• Serve as primary contact for data entry questions and chart correction policies.
• Monitor work queues to ensure timely analysis and issue resolution.
• Oversee scanning/indexing queues to ensure accurate, timely document processing.
• Audit chart documentation per ACHC requirements and report compliance.
• Report KPIs to the Director of Health Information Management.
