Job summary

Steinberg Diagnostics is seeking an HIT Systems Coordinator to manage electronic health records and health information systems, ensuring security, accuracy, and accessibility for staff, patients, and physicians in line with regulatory requirements.

You will lead system maintenance, provide user training, monitor data quality and compliance, and collaborate with IT and clinical teams while pursuing ongoing growth in HIT and Health Informatics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in HIT or healthcare IT
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
• Experience with EHR systems and data reporting is preferred
• Strong communication and independent work skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of EHR systems and health IT projects with leadership
• Provide user support and training to healthcare staff on health information systems
• Audit assigned databases monthly and generate leadership reports
• Monitor data quality and ensure regulatory compliance across systems
• Collaborate with clinical and IT staff to optimize workflows and participate in ongoing HIT education
