Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks a Data Integrity Specialist to ensure accurate medical records. You will resolve complex data issues across Epic and OnBase, including merges, unmerges, amendments, and deceased patient updates.

Collaborating with Patient Access and clinical staff, you will manage chart corrections and ensure timely processing of requests within the system. A minimum of 3 years in Health Information Management and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in Health Information Management.
• Must work with extreme attention to detail in multiple computer applications.
• Experience resolving complex data integrity issues such as merges, unmerges, misregistrations and amendments.

Responsibilities

• Resolves complex Data Integrity issues daily including merges, unmerges, unlinking external and internal care everywhere requests, misregistrations, requests for amendments and marking patients deceased in Epic.
• Handles all chart corrections in OnBase to ensure accuracy of scanned documents and doc types.
• Monitors and finalizes requests in the in basket for Chart Correction, Deceased patients, and related tasks.
• Change classification of merge pair to an NMR if applicable.
• Use Patient Contact Mover to transfer notes between records.
