Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data integration, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, X12, HL7.
• Experience with system integration, data mapping, ETL, and API development.
• Familiarity with 837, 834 transactions.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in client-facing roles and commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strategic plan for integrating healthcare data into organizational systems.
• Ensure data transactions comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and other standards.
• Coordinate with IT, Operations, and other teams to integrate data into core systems.
• Lead data mapping and transformation activities with analysts and developers.
• Implement robust error handling and monitoring for data accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize integration processes for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement encryption, access controls, and audit trails.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align integration efforts.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and SLAs.
• Continuously evaluate and improve integration workflows, tools, and services.
• Serve as liaison with clients to understand requirements and expectations.
