Job summary

Decca Consulting LLC seeks a Healthcare Data Integration Lead to own the end-to-end lifecycle of external healthcare data exchanges with TPAs, provider networks, and other partners. This hands-on technical leader blends software engineering, data integration, and partner collaboration to deliver reliable data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own technical integrations with TPAs, provider networks, and external healthcare partners.
• Ingest, lifecycle, and governance of provider, network, and reference data used across the platform.
• Define, maintain, and version partner integration specifications including file layouts, APIs, schemas, and data contracts.
• Lead onboarding of new partners and manage changes to existing integrations with minimal downstream impact.
• Collaborate with partner technical teams to troubleshoot production data exchange issues.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and timely delivery of healthcare data across all integrations.
• Design and maintain mappings from partner formats into canonical data model.
• Define reusable integration patterns for file-based, API-based, and event-driven data exchange.
• Build ingestion services supporting validation, transformation, reconciliation, and processing workflows.
• Maintain backward compatibility as partner formats evolve.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure consistent data delivery.
• Operate and support production ingestion pipelines, monitor data quality and SLAs.
• Implement validation, reconciliation, duplicate detection, and error recovery processes.
• Root cause analysis for production issues and coordination with internal teams and partners.
• Improve observability through monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Establish standards for external data quality, validation, and canonical mapping.
• Ensure incoming data is complete, accurate, and consumable by downstream systems.
• Partner with Operations, Analytics, Clinical, and Product teams to improve data quality.
• Ensure integrations comply with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
• Deliver trusted datasets enabling Operations, Engineering, Analytics, and ML teams.
• Serve as primary technical contact for healthcare data integrations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define integration priorities and resolve data challenges.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in integration engineering and operational excellence.
• Contribute to hiring, process improvements, and evolution of Data Integration function.
