Job summary

Judi Health is seeking a Data Exchange Analyst to join our Data Operations team. You will ensure secure exchange of healthcare data between Judi Health and partners, focusing on data integration, file transformation, error resolution, and ongoing monitoring of data feeds for medical, dental, and vision claims.

The role requires strong healthcare data knowledge, EDI experience, and a commitment to data integrity and HIPAA compliance, with a hybrid in-office schedule in NYC, Denver, or Charlotte.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics or related field.
• Knowledge of healthcare claim adjudication processes for medical, dental, and vision.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations.
• 2+ years of data analysis, data integration, or EDI experience in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI transactions (e.g., 834, 837, 835).
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, JSON and data skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data mappings and transformations for healthcare data files (837/835, 270/271, 278, 276/277, 999/TA1).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define data requirements.
• Onboard, test and certify new connections and transaction sets.
• Develop data validation rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors.
• Monitor data exchange systems and provide troubleshooting support.
• Document data exchange processes and configurations.
• Identify opportunities to automate data exchange and improve efficiency.
